Guide The Ritual & The Test

How to use it. How to know it's real.

A simple daily ritual, and a clear-eyed guide to authenticity in a category full of imitations.

How to use shilajit resin

  1. 01

    Measure a pea-size amount

Roughly 300–500 mg, once daily. Resin is concentrated — a little is the whole idea.

  2. 02

    Dissolve in warm liquid

Stir into a small cup of warm (not boiling) water or milk. Traditionally a copper vessel is used.

  3. 03

    Take it in the morning

Make it a calm, consistent part of the morning. Suitable for adults 18+.

How to spot fake shilajit

These are checks people commonly cite. They are useful rules of thumb — not laboratory proof. The only real proof is a Certificate of Analysis.

Solubility

Pure resin dissolves in warm water, usually turning it a golden-to-reddish brown without grainy residue or oily film.

Temperature behaviour

Resin tends to soften and become pliable with warmth, and firm up when cold. A piece that stays hard and brittle regardless can be a red flag.

Texture & aroma

Glossy, sticky, with an earthy mineral smell — not plasticky, not artificially sweet.

Why the lab report wins

Home tests can be staged or misread. A batch-level COA tells you the fulvic-acid content and confirms heavy metals are within safe limits — the two things that actually matter for a resin you take daily.

Common questions

Can I take it on an empty stomach?

Many people take it first thing in the morning. If it does not sit well, take it with or after food. Start with a small amount and stay consistent.

Why warm water and not hot?

Gentle warmth helps the resin dissolve evenly. Boiling water is unnecessary and can make it clump. Pure resin dissolves cleanly given a moment.

Are home authenticity tests reliable?

Treat them as rules of thumb, not proof. They can be fooled. The only real verification is a Certificate of Analysis from an accredited lab — which is why we publish one per batch.

How should I store resin?

Closed, cool, and dry, away from direct sun and heat. Resin is naturally stable but sensitive to heat; a cupboard is ideal.
